Management Accountant

Location: London/Hackney – Hybrid (3 days in office)

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Salary: £40-£45K DOE/study support included

Night Group is a dynamic hospitality and nightlife operator behind some of East London’s most recognisable venues, including Night Tales, NT's Loft, Netil 360, and Palais.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is developing their accounting career and wants to grow into a Management Accountant role. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across multiple entities in a fast-paced, creative environment.

The Role

This role is designed for someone who is part-qualified (or studying) and ready to take the next step toward becoming a Management Accountant across four legal entities, supporting accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed P&L reviews, investigating variances, ensuring accuracy and posting required adjustments across four legal entities
• Manage intercompany recharges including; rent, directors expenses, and other cost allocations
• Complete full balance sheet reconciliations with commentary on key movements
• Weekly revenue recognition, ensuring accurate and timely posting to the P&L
• Weekly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including depreciation postings
• Support expense management, including review, accruals, and prepayments
• Process and review stock adjustments, ensuring correct valuation and reporting
• Assist with month-end close and continuous improvement of financial processes

What We’re Looking For

• Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or actively studying
• Previous experience in an assistant accountant / finance role
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Good understanding of core accounting principles (P&L, balance sheet, accruals, prepayments)
• Comfortable working with multiple entities and high transaction volumes
• Intermediate Excel skills
