Management Accountant Liverpool City Centre (generous hybrid model following initial training)Up to £45,000 DOE I'm delighted to be exclusively partnered with this professional services firm based in modern, vibrant offices in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. They are seeking a Management Accountant to join their well-established finance team.My client will consider both practice and industry trained candidatesThis role will assist the Financial Controller in the delivery of timely and accurate monthly management accounts with full reconciliations; to assist with Business Partnering, providing effective and timely spend analysis to ensure sound decision support and communication; to analyse and forecast future costs and trends to ensure pro-active financial planning is met whilst also capable of adding value to various departments of the business.Key Duties:Responsible for the timely production monthly management accountsResponsible for the accurate reconciliation of lease management system and GL postingsBalance sheet reconciliations with proactive follow through on reconciling itemsOversee preparation of the fortnightly cashflow forecastResponsible for the smooth operation of audit over year end and half year end audit periodMonthly cost reviews: reporting, hold meetings and follow through to actionsAssist with KPI reports for wider group departmentsSales commission reviews against policyAssisting with the payroll process and reconciliationAssist with preparation and review of other related processes, controls or reporting as requiredAbout You:Experience in similar role or strong practice backgroundExcellent IT skills, to include Excel at an advanced level Familiarity with manipulating large volumes of data in ExcelPart or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, or fully AAT qualified.
