Management Accountant
Location: Chester
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hybrid working: Up to 2 days working from home

An established and growing organisation is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across month-end reporting, controls, audit support and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Bank reconciliations and month-end close
- Stock accounting and balance sheet reporting
- Financial analysis and reporting to support business performance
- Supporting and reviewing transactional finance teams
- Liaison with auditors and support of audit processes
- Payroll coordination and quarterly xbpsjku VAT returns
About You
- Experience working as a Management Accountant or similar
- Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment
- AAT Qualified / ACCA or CIMA Part Qualified or QBE
