Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Manchester (Hybrid working available)

Salary: £50,000 - £52,000

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team in Manchester. This role will play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving business performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary

* Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning support

* Analysis of financial performance and provision of clear insights to senior stakeholders

* Business partnering with operational teams to support commercial decision-making

* Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities

* Support year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required

* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency

About You

* Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)

* Proven experience in a management accounting role

* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

* Confident communicator, able to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders

* Proficient in Excel and familiar with financial systems/ERP software

* Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines
