Maintenance Mechanical Engineer -Leeds - LS1 - X1 Job Available\n\nA Maintenance Mechanical Engineer is required for a static site role in Leeds (LS1), working within a healthcare environment.\n\nThis is a long-term position with opportunities for permanent employment.\n\nShift Pattern:\n 4 days (6:00am - 6:00pm), 4 days off, 4 nights (6:00pm - 6:00am), 4 days off - rolling shift pattern providing 24/7/365 cover.\n\nPay Rate:\n £20.36 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)\n\nDuties will include:\n\nLeading the shift team and providing support to working colleagues\n\nCarrying out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in line with relevant standards and procedures\n\nParticipating in the rotating shift pattern to provide continuous service cover\n\nProviding cover for absent colleagues where required\n\nWorking in accordance with safe working practices within statutory, NHS, Trust and Company guidelines\n\nMaintaining, servicing and repairing a wide range of building services including:\n\nHeating and domestic water services\n\nGeneral electrical services (lighting and power)\n\nAir handling units\n\nLow voltage electrical distribution systems and switchgear\n\nEmergency standby generating plant\n\nFire alarm systems and emergency lighting\n\nElectrical control systems\n\nBuilding Management Systems (BMS)\n\nMaintaining accurate records and completing service reports, providing regular updates to the line manager\n\nCarrying out minor installation and upgrade works when required\n\nAssisting other skilled trades with maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work\n\nUndertaking training to maintain and develop skills in line with service requirements\n\nActing as Competent or Authorised Person when appointed\n\nLiaising and undertaking duties at other healthcare projects if directed\n\nUndertaking overtime where required to maintain service delivery\n\nCarrying out any other duties commensurate with grade\n\nQualifications / Experience Required:\n\nQualified, time-served engineer\n\nMinimum 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience\n\nHealthcare experience desirable but not essential\n\nCross-trade experience advantageous\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established facilities team within a critical healthcare environment.\n\nIf you're interested, please call (phone number removed) or send your CV to
