A large and well-investedfood manufacturing site in Stowmarketis looking to strengthen its engineering team with the appointment of aMulti-Skilled Shift Engineer.This is a key role within a 24/7 operation, supporting a complex production facility and ensuring plant reliability across multiple process areas. The successful engineer will play an important part in maintaining production performance, minimising downtime and supporting ongoing improvements across the site.The RoleWorking as part of the site engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of manufacturing equipment and site services.Key responsibilities include: Responding quickly and effectively to engineering breakdowns Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across the site Supporting plant modifications and small engineering improvement projects Working to maximise machine availability and plant efficiency Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times Supporting production teams to ensure the plant runs efficientlyThe site includes a variety of process and production systems, making this a varied and technically interesting engineering role.The Candidate Amulti-skilled engineer with both mechanical and electrical capability Experience fault finding onPLCs and process control equipment Able to work to tight response times and challenging deadlines Comfortable working independently and using your own initiative Flexible and adaptable to the demands of a fast-paced manufacturing environment Knowledge ofcontinuous improvement or TPM practiceswould be beneficialEngineers fromfood manufacturing or other continuous process industrieswill be considered.Shift Pattern 12 hourPanama shift pattern Average42 hours per week Operating within a 24/7 manufacturing environmentPackage£53,386 salary Annual salary review Company profit-based bonus5% employer pension contribution Health Cash Plan with reward scheme Employee assistance support line Life assurance Flexible working arrangements On-site parkingThis is an opportunity to join astable manufacturing operation with modern processes and a strong engineering team, offering long-term career stability and development.JBRP1_UKTJ
