A large and well-invested food manufacturing site in Stowmarket is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the appointment of a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer .
This is a key role within a 24/7 operation, supporting a complex production facility and ensuring plant reliability across multiple process areas. The successful engineer will play an important part in maintaining production performance, minimising downtime and supporting ongoing improvements across the site.
The Role
Working as part of the site engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of manufacturing equipment and site services.
Key responsibilities include:
Responding quickly and effectively to engineering breakdowns Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across the site Supporting plant modifications and small engineering improvement projects Working to maximise machine availability and plant efficiency Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times Supporting production teams to ensure the plant runs efficiently
