Jobstore are seeking a highly organised Logistics Co-ordinator to oversee and optimise our clients' logistics administrative operations.Based on site, at their location just outside of Manchester City centre, working part-time, 9.00am to 3.00pm, Monday to Friday, 24 hours a week - we are looking for someone who is used to working in a very busy distribution operation, managing administrative processes, liaising with internal teams, third-party suppliers and customers, ensuring the efficient movement and shipment of goods while delivering excellent customer service.Day to day responsibilities;Deliver a high standard of customer service across all engagement with internal and external customers.Respond to customer enquiries promptly and effectively via phone, email, or system platforms.Provide accurate and timely updates on:o Order status and progresso Transport and delivery informationo Pricing, quotations, and product detailsMaintain accurate records of all enquiries, quotations, and complaints.Escalate issues or complaints appropriately and in a timely manner.Identify potential sales opportunities and pass leads to the sales team.Manage and maintain logistics systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.Coordinate all inbound and outbound deliveries, keeping relevant departments informed.Book and manage deliveries and collections using internal and external systems.Prepare and distribute route plans, ensuring any changes are clearly communicated.Produce accurate driver documentation, including load and run sheets.Compile and maintain reports as required.To be successful in this role you will come withStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to influence and build relationships at all levelsExcellent organisational and planning skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyProblem-solving and decision-making abilityAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmentProven experience in logistics coordination within a warehouse or supply chain environment.This is a fixed term four month assignment, working for a leading distribution business in Manchester.The team morale is great with a fantastic busy working environment.Please click to apply now and send us your CV for an immediate review.Jobstore is an equal opportunities employer and we value diversity.JBRP1_UKTJ
