Are you an experienced Logistics and Planning Manager with experience of managing 3PL partners across Europe and the USA? A well established manufacturing business in Stoke on Trent are looking for someone to manage their Warehouse operations, Demand Planning as well as continuous improvement within this function. Offering a salary of up to £65K working Monday to Friday.

The Role:
This role is split into 2 main areas;
Warehouse Operations - Leading daily warehouse activities Maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits and RCA of discrepancies Serve as the primary operational contact for all 3PL partners across Europe and the USA Monitor 3PL performance against SLA's, KPI's and contractual obligations, including fulfillment accuracy, on-time shipping and inventory integrity Conduct regular reviews with each 3PL
Demand Planning - Lead the demand planning process to ensure accurate forecasting of finished goods and component requirements across both manufacturing and distribution Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement and Finance to consolidate demand signals and translate into plans Support SOP process by providing data driven insights on capacity, inventory and fulfilment readiness Monitor and forecast accuracy KPIs to drive continuous improvement in planning methodologies and tools Analyse historical sales , seasonality, production constraints as well as market trends to improve forecasting more accurately
Suitable Candidate Experienced Logistics and Planning Manager / Supply Chain Manager / Warehouse Manager Experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment Must have strong experience with Demand Planning Experience of managing 3PL providers Solid understanding of fulfilment operations, inventory control and logistics processes Strong knowledge of WMS/ERp systems - Ideally SAP Excellent communication, negotiation, and stake holder management skills Ability to lead develop and motivate teams
