The role has the pivotal responsibility of liaising between the sales team and operations/dispatch, ensuring all shipments are processed fully to comply to all international import & export customs requirements
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Sales order processing, progressing and prioritising – working with lead-times and shortages
* Courier management – quotes/calculations, logistics organisation booking shipments, customs - dispatch & collection paperwork for imports/exports
* Verifying international commodity codes for customs duties
* Interacting with multiple carriers as well as different internal teams
* Excellent customer service, call handling (as often the first point of contact)
* Returns process/service return paperwork
* General admin tasks
* Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
Experience and Requirements:
* Proven previous experience within an office based administration role and high level of attention to detail is essential
* Knowledge of importing & exporting globally, international shipping requirements, commodity codes are highly desirable
* Keen eye for detail.
