Overview Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their established team. You will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, working with some of the UK’s largest housebuilders and developers. This is a busy and rewarding role where you will take full ownership of transactions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a high standard of client service throughout. Key Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing files from initial instruction through to post-completion Review and report on property searches and title documentation Draft and issue all relevant conveyancing documentation Handle pre-contract enquiries and provide clear advice to clients Negotiate, exchange, and complete contracts efficiently Liaise with clients, developers, mortgage lenders, and third parties to ensure smooth progression of transactions Provide clear, professional legal advice throughout the process Maintain accurate and compliant records using a case management system (CMS) Handle all post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry registrations
About You
Confident managing your own caseload without supervision Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines Professional, calm, and able to perform well under pressure Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving Up to date with current legislation affecting residential conveyancing Proficient in IT systems, including CMS and Microsoft Office
