The Firm

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm based in Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join its established finance team. The Role

\n\n

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring full compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules while supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the firm

\n\n

Key Responsibilities

\n\n
    \n\t
  • Processing client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently
    • \n\t
  • Handling daily banking, including receipts and payments
    • \n\t
  • Performing bank reconciliations
    • \n\t
  • Managing billing, including raising invoices and credit notes
    • \n\t
  • Processing CHAPS, BACS, and international payments
    • \n\t
  • Maintaining accurate financial records in line with compliance requirements
    • \n\t
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures
    • \n\t
  • Supporting fee earners with financial queries
    • \n
\n\n

Requirements

\n\n
    \n\t
  • Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
    • \n\t
  • Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
    • \n\t
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • \n\t
  • Proficiency with legal accounting software
    • \n\t
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
    • \n\t
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • \n
