Legal Assistant Location: Glasgow City Centre Salary: £25,000 Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (Office-Based)

Anderson Knight is recruiting for a Legal Assistant on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation in Glasgow. This role sits within a busy consumer lending / remortgage team and involves supporting the smooth progression of customer files from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities • Open and set up new remortgage files on internal systems. • Liaise with customers, lenders, and external partners to request and gather documents. • Upload, verify, and manage information such as redemption statements and title documents. • Maintain accurate records and key data within the case management system. • Monitor shared inboxes, responding to or allocating emails as required. • Support the team with routine calls, chasing documentation, and general admin tasks. • Handle customer information in line with compliance and data security requirements.

What We’re Looking For • Previous customer service and administrative experience (office-based experience desirable). • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data and documents. • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email management. • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach. • Ability to prioritise work and stay organised in a fast-paced environment. • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Preferred (but not essential): • Experience in legal, mortgage, property, lending, or financial services. • Familiarity with remortgage processes or case management systems.
