Grade Hay 5, Point 6 (dependent on experience) We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist school for a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive and dynamic team. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils with additional needs, supporting both their learning and overall wellbeing in a nurturing educational environment.

?? The Role

As an LSA, you will work under the direction of the class teacher to support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups , helping them access learning and develop key life skills. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting learning activities in and out of the classroom Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Promoting pupils' independence, communication, and social development Supporting behaviour management in line with school policies Assisting with personal care and medical needs (training provided) Supervising pupils during playtimes, lunchtimes, and trips Contributing to classroom preparation and resource management Monitoring and recording pupil progress
