ROLE: Lead Software Engineer (Software Engineering, Technical Leadership, Mentoring, Architecture Ownership)

We’re seeking Lead Back End Engineers who can drive backend strategy, guide technical decisions, and elevate engineering standards across key product areas.

This is a senior engineering role - ideal for someone who wants ownership, architectural influence, and the chance to build systems that scale to millions of users.

You’ll define technical vision, lead critical backend projects, and act as a trusted engineering voice in product and platform discussions - shaping everything from API design and system architecture to performance, resilience, and scalability.

What You’ll Bring

Expert-level Python & Front End engineering skills — clean, scalable, production-grade code

⚙️ Strong experience building and designing APIs (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC)

Hands-on architectural depth — Microservices, distributed systems, event-driven patterns

☁️ Cloud expertise (AWS ) — Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, API Gateway

Proven track record delivering high-scale backend systems

Experience leading engineers — mentoring, technical direction, code standards

️ Excellent communicator with the ability to influence product and technical strategy

Passion for robust engineering — testing, observability, optimisation, performance
