Lead Software Engineer | Lead Engineer | Lead Full Stack Engineer

Up to £128,000 per annum

Office based in Camden, 2 days a week in office

TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, PostgreSQL

My client is hiring for a Lead Software Engineer to join a high-growth product company delivering real-time salary transparency across Europe. This Lead Software Engineer role sits at the heart of the next growth phase, with ownership across platform scalability, new product development, and cross-team technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery across multiple teams Own and influence architectural decisions Drive improvements to performance, reliability, and CI/CD Work closely with Product and Data on technical roadmap planning Remain hands-on with code reviews, design, and problem solving Mentor engineers and support team leads

Requirements

Experience as a Lead Software Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Senior Engineer ready to step up Full-stack experience across React, TypeScript, Node Experience scaling modern web platforms Strong problem-solving and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced scale-up environment
