Lead Engineer Location: Basingstoke Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £45,000 An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Engineer to join a maintenance team, overseeing on-site engineers and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient building services operations. Key Requirements Proven experience in an engineering maintenance environment Experience supervising and managing on-site engineers Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City & Guilds LVL 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent) CSCS card (and ECS card if electrically qualified) Strong health & safety knowledge Ability to work independently and lead by example Key Responsibilities Lead engineering maintenance and breakdown support Manage reactive & planned maintenance activities Control and report on repair & maintenance budgets Support health, safety, environmental, and energy initiatives xehkeey Liaise with senior management and regional engineering support Provide cover across local cluster sites when required (on-call) Benefits 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Pension scheme Private healthcare benefits Career development and training opportunities
