Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a specialist Metal pressing and fabrication company who are actively seeking a proven Laser Cutting Setter / Operator to join their West Bromwich location.

Our client has over 70 years heritage and are currently expanding in various areas of their business due to continued contract wins, continued investment into their staff, facilities and specialist machines.

Laser Cutting Setter / Operator Position Overview

Responsible for the day to day running of the Multilaze Laser Cutting Machine making sure production output matches the requirements on the build plan. Responsible for job changeovers / tool changes and the swift assistance to any breakdowns. The Setter must ensure the Laser is set and running before leaving each day with clear instruction left for the operator on the following shift. Must be fully competent with regards any further development work, being able to produce samples of new parts, as and when required.Laser Cutting Setter / Operator Position Requirements

Knowledge of setting and operating Press Brake machines, although this is not essential. Experience using a Multilaze P3015 Laser Cutting Machine is highly desirable.
