The Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils during a crucial stage of their development. Your role will be varied, rewarding, and hands-on, including:

• Supporting learning activities across the KS1 curriculum

• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce key skills

• Assisting pupils with additional or special educational needs

• Helping to create engaging, safe, and inclusive classroom environments

• Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
