About the Role:

You will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support to KS1 pupils, particularly those requiring booster interventions or with SEN needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early education and committed to making learning accessible and enjoyable for all.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting small group interventions in literacy and numeracy

• Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs

• Assisting in classroom activities and ensuring pupils stay engaged and motivated

• Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to tailor strategies to individual learners

• Helping maintain a safe, inclusive and encouraging environment

Requirements
• Experience working with KS1 children, especially in an educational or childcare setting

• Knowledge of SEN strategies and early phonics development is highly desirable

• A calm, compassionate and proactive approach

• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with children and staff

• A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is beneficial but not essential
