Junior Estimator - Entry Level Role Knebworth - Hybrid 3 days in the office Permanent, full-time Competitive salary plus benefits
Are you looking to start a career within the thriving EV and Electrical Sector? This role of Junior Estimator will be provided with on the job training from scratch and will work on a varied range of projects from LV/HV connections, to full onsite builds and installations. This role will require you to assist in multiple tender enquiries across a number of different clients. Graduates looking to get into an estimator role are welcome to apply.
More about the role:
Working with the Estimator & Senior Electrical Estimator to support on the delivery on high-quality estimates and tenders.- Evaluation of tender enquiry documentation received from clients and ensure all relevant/correct information has been provided. Reviewing tender information received and outlining scope in order for the scheme to be accurately tendered. Maintain good working relationships with existing clients as well as developing new relationships. Attending Pre-Construction meetings with Operations & Project Management team when bids are successful and PO's issued. Requesting asset values from our IDNO partners in relation to the scope of the project. Measuring designs using either PDF or google maps to ensuring accurate take offs are recorded. Ensuring internal tendering trackers are kept up to date. Check client feedback from tenders that are on-going and completed. Set up new projects on our Sharepoint. Qualifications
