CAD Manager (Joinery) Salary: £55k - £65k
Im working with a specialist contractor delivering high-end bespoke joinery across luxury residential and commercial projects. Theyre looking to appoint a CAD Manager to lead the design function and oversee the technical delivery of joinery packages from concept through to manufacture.
The Role Youll take ownership of the CAD/design team, ensuring all drawings are produced to a high standard, are technically accurate, and align with both client expectations and production requirements. Youll act as the key link between design, commercial, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the CAD/design team , overseeing workload, quality, and output Review and approve detailed joinery drawings prior to release for production Ensure all drawings are accurate, buildable, and aligned with project specifications Coordinate closely with project managers, estimators, and workshop teams Interpret design intent and translate into practical joinery solutions Implement and maintain drawing standards, processes, and best practices Support problem-solving across technical design challenges Manage drawing programmes in line wit...
