CAD Manager (Joinery)Salary:£55k - £65kIm working with a specialist contractor delivering high-end bespoke joinery across luxury residential and commercial projects. Theyre looking to appoint a CAD Manager to lead the design function and oversee the technical delivery of joinery packages from concept through to manufacture.The RoleYoull take ownership of the CAD/design team, ensuring all drawings are produced to a high standard, are technically accurate, and align with both client expectations and production requirements. Youll act as the key link between design, commercial, and manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the CAD/design team, overseeing workload, quality, and outputReview and approve detailed joinery drawings prior to release for productionEnsure all drawings are accurate, buildable, and aligned with project specificationsCoordinate closely with project managers, estimators, and workshop teamsInterpret design intent and translate into practical joinery solutionsImplement and maintain drawing standards, processes, and best practicesSupport problem-solving across technical design challengesManage drawing programmes in line with project timelinesAct as a senior point of contact for technical queries (internal and client-side)What Theyre Looking ForProven experience as a Senior Joinery CAD Designer / CAD ManagerStrong background within bespoke joinery or manufacturing-led interiorsExcellent knowledge of joinery construction, materials, and detailingStrong proficiency in AutoCADExperience leading or mentoring a design/CAD teamAble to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectivelyStrong communication skills and ability to liaise across departmentsWhy This RoleOpportunity to lead the design function within a specialist joinery contractorHigh-end, bespoke projects with a strong design focusEstablished pipeline of secured workClose collaboration with senior leadership and production teamsJBRP1_UKTJ
