This is a full-time temporary opportunity offering hybrid working and a chance to play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation remains compliant with data protection legislation and best practice in information governance.

This role will suit someone with strong knowledge of data protection, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to influence best practice across an organisation.

Key responsibilities of the role: Provide expert advice on data protection and information governance to senior leaders and staff across the organisation Maintain and review the Information Asset Register and data retention schedules Coordinate responses to FOI and subject access requests, ensuring legal compliance and quality assurance Investigate and report on data breaches, including escalation to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) where required Monitor and report on information governance compliance, compiling reports and tracking performance metrics Develop, review and implement IG-related policies, procedures, and guidance documents Support privacy impact assessments, data sharing agreements, and corporate complaints handling ...
