Morson are recruiting an ME Industrial Assembly Engineer (Night Shift) to join one of our advanced manufacturing clients at their Broughton site . This role is offered on a contract basis until December 2026 , with a strong likelihood of extension. The ME Industrial Assembly Engineer will join the Assembly Technologies function , supporting the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of drilling and fastening equipment and processes used in complex wing manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on, shop-floor-focused engineering role requiring strong technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery capability. Role Overview The ME Industrial Assembly Engineer will apply manufacturing engineering and project management expertise to research, define, and deliver new technologies and improvements within an industrial assembly environment. The role focuses on manual and semi-automated drilling and fastening processes , supporting both existing production equipment and future manufacturing capability. Working closely with manufacturing operations, support functions, and suppliers, the role plays a critical part in maintaining productivity, quality, safety, and cost effectiveness.
