This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and improving aircraft wing manufacturing through the development, deployment, and optimisation of drilling and fastening equipment and processes.Working on the night shift, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with project delivery, supporting both existing operations and the introduction of new technologies in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment.What you'll be doingIn this role, you'll be trusted to take ownership of complex manufacturing engineering activities, including:Deploying and supporting manual and semi-automated drilling and fastening equipment within wing manufacturing operationsDefining new equipment requirements and developing new assembly processes to support production and future technologiesProviding technical and project support to existing machinery and manufacturing systemsDelivering continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on productivity, quality, safety, and efficiencyManaging and contributing to capital investment and improvement projects, working with cross-functional teamsSupporting manufacturing operations with methods and process engineering expertiseCollaborating with internal stakeholders, transnational colleagues, and external suppliers to ensure successful project deliveryLeading and contributing to EHS and continuous improvement projects aligned with site and business objectivesWhat we're looking forWe're keen to hear from candidates who bring a strong engineering mindset and practical manufacturing experience.
