Anderson Knight Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a third sector organisation in the recruitment of an HR Adviser to join their team based in Glasgow.

Our client is a values-driven third sector organisation committed to making a positive difference to individuals and communities across Scotland. People are central to everything they do, and this role will play a key part in supporting and developing their workforce.
The Role
The HR Adviser will provide high-quality, practical HR advice and support to managers and staff across the organisation. This is a hybrid role, based in Glasgow, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
The role will require occasional travel to other sites, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities

Provide expert HR advice on employee relations matters including absence, performance, conduct, and grievance
*
Support managers with recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
*
Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with current employment legislation
*
Contribute to organisational change and people-focused initiatives
*
Maintain accurate HR records and support reporting requirements
*
Promote HR best practice aligned with the organisation’s values
About You
*
Proven experience in a generalist HR Adviser or HR Officer role
*
Strong knowledge of UK employment law
*
Confident in advising and supporting managers at all levels
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
*
CIPD qualification or working towards this is desirable
*
Full UK driving licence is essential
