Arcade is one of UK's most ambitious and exciting hospitality projects! As a brand incubator, we launch, operate, and scale original concepts that celebrate global cuisines and exceptional drink culture. We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to join the kitchen team of one of London's newest, stunning and most exciting venues - Arcade Covent Garden! As Arcade's Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained across all our kitchens and brands in order to support the Senior Sous and Head Chef in overseeing the daily kitchen operation. The successful candidate will be an experienced, kitchen all-rounder who is personable, and passionate about all thing's food and drink. As a Sous Chef working closely with our kitchen teams you will: Have the opportunity to steer and guide a sizeable team of chefs across multiple brands and kitchens within one site Ensure the delivery of consistent, high quality and innovative dishes Support the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu development Manage the overall kitchen operation, including prep schedules, stock control, budgeting and maintenance Bring previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high quality and high-volume environment Have strong knowledge of and practical understanding of all sections of the kitchen Bring a highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail Have a track record in training and motivating a kitchen brigade Have experience in managing staff costs, scheduling and reviewing staff rotas Bring experience in reporting on kitchen finances and purchasing Are a natural leader who is keen to progress your career with a bold restaurant group!
