Homewares Buyer

Location: Leeds, hybrid

Salary: £38,000- 42,000 DOE

About the Role A hands-on buying role with full ownership of a distinctive homewares offer across textiles, décor, soft furnishings, lighting and furniture. You'll blend own-brand development with bought-in product to create eclectic, story-led ranges. Creative, fast-paced and ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

Develop commercial, inspiring ranges across multiple home categories.

Lead own-brand product development (textiles preferred) and off-the-shelf sourcing.

Manage global suppliers, negotiating cost, MOQs and delivery.

Own the critical path and place orders in line with forecasts.

Maintain accurate product data and analyse performance.

Collaborate with Creative, Digital, Marketing and Photography teams.

Support wholesale and marketplace presentations.

Lead and develop a Buyers Assistant.

Person Specification

Essential

Minimum 3 years' buying experience in homewares, fashion or related products.

Product development and supplier management experience.

Strong commercial and analytical skills.

Confident negotiator with global sourcing exposure.

Multi-channel retail experience.

Desirable

Wholesale or marketplace experience.

Involvement in creative or digital product content.

Merchandisers with strong homewares knowledge seeking a buying role.
