Academics are working in partnership with a small, welcoming primary school - situated in Watford - within a friendly local federation to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

The HLTA role:
As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities will include:
Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support high-quality teaching and learning Leading and monitoring targeted interventions and evaluating pupil progress Supporting, directing, and guiding other teaching assistants Working with individuals and small groups of pupils, including those with SEND, to raise attainment and promote independence Delivering lessons and leading learning activities under the direction of teaching staff Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environmentThe ideal HLTA will:
Have experience supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently using initiative and creativity Thrive in a small, collaborative team environment and demonstrate flexibility and a positive sense of humour Possess strong communication and organisational skills Able to commute to WatfordIn return, the school offers:
