An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly organised Hire Controller to join a fast-growing, founder-led HVAC hire specialist based in Redditch.The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating nationwide HVAC hire operations, working closely with engineers, logistics partners, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless delivery of temporary heating and cooling solutions. This is a varied, fast-paced role suited to someone with strong organisational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.The role offers the chance to join a rapidly expanding business, contribute to continuous process improvement (including the rollout of a new ERP system), and build a long-term career within a dynamic operational environment.Duties:Coordinate day-to-day hire operations, liaising with engineers and managing scheduling of hire jobs and projectsConvert quotes into contracts and manage end-to-end hire processes, including rehiringArrange and oversee transport logistics and manage transport quotationsMaintain accurate records and handle all administrative tasks related to equipment hire and servicesLiaise with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and customers to ensure smooth project executionManage calendars, accreditation portals, and support contract-related queriesSupport the implementation of new ERP software and identify opportunities for process improvementProactively identify ways to enhance customer experience and operational efficiencyRequirements:Strong communication and customer-facing skillsHighly organised with excellent attention to detailStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to work well as part of a team and with external partnersPlanning or hire experience desirableHealth & Safety experience desirableTenacious, goal-focused, and able to work to deadlinesSalary / Package:Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per yearCompany bonus scheme25 days holiday plus bank holidaysPension schemeCycle to work schemeCompany events and social hoursThis is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing HVAC hire specialists, offering stability, progression, and the chance to be part of an ambitious and supportive team.
