Key Roles & Responsibilities As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will:

Deliver learning activities and lead lessons, including class cover when teachers are absent, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. Support planning and preparation of engaging teaching resources and activities under the direction of classroom teachers. Work with individuals and small groups to provide targeted interventions, adapting approaches to meet pupil needs. Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress, contributing constructive feedback to help pupils achieve their learning goals. Promote positive behaviour, helping to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom culture.
