Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary School, Brent

Teach Now is working in partnership with a supportive and well-regarded primary school in Brent, London, to recruit a confident and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a full-time, temporary position starting 23 February 2026.

The Role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and covering classes when required

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, including small group and intervention work

• Assisting with lesson planning, assessment, and classroom organisation

• Supporting pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs

• Working closely with class teachers and senior leaders to maintain high standards

• Term-time only hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
