Driver must be over 25 with maximum of 6 points ** **We have assessments available immediately!** Benefits of working for Cotswold Talent Solutions: Daily/Shift rate, not age dependent Opportunity to grow within a great UK company Genuine Temporary to permanent opportunity £25 per night (night out allowance) £180 per shift Responsibilities Operate HGV Class 1 lorries in compliance with all legal and safety regulations Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety standards are met Deliver goods efficiently across designated routes, adhering to delivery schedules and customer requirements Maintain accurate documentation of journeys, deliveries, and vehicle inspections Follow all traffic laws and company policies throughout all operations Complete daily logs and reports as required by company procedures Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly for maintenance Qualifications Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed trailers preferred Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and time management Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards Ability to operate flatbed equipment safely and securely load/unload cargo Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills for liaising with dispatch teams and clients Flexibility to undertake long-distance journeys across various regions as required This role is ideal for motivated drivers seeking a challenging yet rewarding career in freight transportation. xehkeey Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to safety at all times.
