Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver/Tramper to join our logistics team.

This role involves long-distance freight transportation.

The ideal candidate will possess solid commercial driving experience, with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and reliability.

**Due to insurance stipulations, this customer cannot accept DR10, IN10. Driver must be over 25 with maximum of 6 points **

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 lorries in compliance with all legal and safety regulations
• Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety standards are met
• Deliver goods efficiently across designated routes, adhering to delivery schedules and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation of journeys, deliveries, and vehicle inspections
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies throughout all operations
• Complete daily logs and reports as required by company procedures
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly for maintenance

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed trailers preferred
• Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and time management
• Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to operate flatbed equipment safely and securely load/unload cargo
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with dispatch teams and clients
• Flexibility to undertake long-distance journeys across various regions as required
