About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and capable Health & Safety Advisor to support the ongoing development and implementation of health and safety practices across a variety of civil engineering and groundworks projects. This position reports to the Health & Safety Manager and will play a key role in helping to ensure our sites remain compliant, safe, and aligned with both company and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct audits and site inspections to ensure health and safety compliance.

* Prepare audit reports, communicate findings, and track close-out actions.

* Investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents; identify trends and propose preventative measures.

* Support the H&S Manager with the implementation of company policies and procedures.

* Deliver toolbox talks and H&S communications on site.

* Provide practical, technical health and safety advice across multiple projects.

* Review risk assessments and method statements, providing guidance where required.

* Assist with project mobilisation by helping prepare H&S documentation and practical controls.
