A regional house builder have a requirement for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join their North West business unit.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures. You will play an effective part in the development of new procedures with regards to implementation, monitoring and control.
You will be responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures throughout the business, to achieve the highest standards on site with respect to Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental issues
Duties & responsibilities to include:
Working closely with the Senior Management team to implement the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures in line with the business growth; Conduct HSE regular site inspections and audits across developments, communicating performance across the company and recommend areas of improvement; Attend and actively participate in Pre-Start Meetings for all Construction projects; Able to develop Construction Phase Plans; Work with management to resolve SH&E matters and work towards ever improving the culture of the workforce; Identifying health and safety training needs including content of...
