Head of Sales

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom.

The Role

This national role will focus on driving both existing customer relationships and new business development, with a 50/50 split across account management and new customer acquisition. Reporting to the Directors, the successful candidate will oversee a team of National Sales Managers and collaborate closely with the Sales Office Manager. They will be instrumental in achieving commercial targets, expanding market share and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Drive existing customer relationships and new business development.
  • Manage a team of National Sales Managers.

Qualifications

  • Dynamic, self‑motivated sales leader with strong grasp of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) market.
  • Experience managing teams, developing sales strategies and building long‑term customer relationships across multi‑site accounts.
  • Strong commercial acumen and people‑management experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach to sales.
  • Solid track record in field‑based sales and business development, ideally within the automotive or industrial consumables sectors.
