Head of Private Client – Senior Solicitor

A well-established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking an experienced and strategic Private Client Solicitor (8+ PQE) to lead its growing Private Client Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior legal professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for leadership, client service, and business development.

The Role:

• Lead and manage the Private Client team
• Handle a varied caseload of wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, and tax matters
• Provide supervision, training, and mentorship across the department
• Shape and implement departmental strategy aligned with firm-wide goals
• Drive marketing and business development initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory standards

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 8 years' experience in private client work
• In-depth knowledge of estate planning, trusts, probate, and tax
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• STEP qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable
