Head of Private Client – Senior Solicitor

A well-established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking an experienced and strategic Private Client Solicitor (8+ PQE) to lead its growing Private Client Department . The Role: Lead and manage the Private Client team Handle a varied caseload of wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, and tax matters Provide supervision, training, and mentorship across the department Shape and implement departmental strategy aligned with firm-wide goals Drive marketing and business development initiatives Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory standards

Candidate Profile: Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 8 years' experience in private client work In-depth knowledge of estate planning, trusts, probate, and tax Proven leadership and supervisory experience STEP qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable
