What You’ll Do

• Shape the direction of portering and logistics services, design innovative solutions, and guide operational teams to deliver consistent, high-performing services nationwide.
• Introduce modern digital tools, develop standardised service playbooks, and showcase best-in-class solutions to stakeholders.
• Uphold the highest standards in safety, sustainability, and regulation; strengthen controls and support sector audits.
• Embed environmentally responsible practices across operations, supporting greener workflows and organisational ESG objectives.
• Build trusted relationships, exceed expectations, and contribute expertise to bids and tenders.
• Coach, mentor, and grow capability across multiple teams while fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Extensive experience leading portering, logistics, or facilities services, ideally in healthcare or complex operational environments
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence presenting to clients and cross-functional teams
• Passion for digital tools, data insight, and modern logistics methods
• Expert knowledge of safety, manual handling, infection control, and operational standards
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Full driving licence with willingness to travel
• Relevant facilities management or operational qualifications (IWFM, IOSH, CIWM, CPC)
• Health & Safety certifications highly advantageous
