What You’ll Do
Shape the direction of portering and logistics services, design innovative solutions, and guide operational teams to deliver consistent, high-performing services nationwide. Introduce modern digital tools, develop standardised service playbooks, and showcase best-in-class solutions to stakeholders. Uphold the highest standards in safety, sustainability, and regulation; strengthen controls and support sector audits. Embed environmentally responsible practices across operations, supporting greener workflows and organisational ESG objectives. Build trusted relationships, exceed expectations, and contribute expertise to bids and tenders. Coach, mentor, and grow capability across multiple teams while fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
Extensive experience leading portering, logistics, or facilities services, ideally in healthcare or complex operational environments Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills Confidence presenting to clients and cross-functional teams Passion for digital tools, data insight, and modern logistics methods Expert knowledge of safety, manual handling, infection control, and operational standards Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset Full driving licence with willingness to travel Relevant facilities management or operational qualifications (IWFM, IOSH, CIWM, CPC) Health & Safety certifications highly advantageous
