ABOUT THE ROLE At the Bamford Collection, creativity is rooted in nature, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for how things are made. As Head of Creative, you will play a pivotal role in bringing the Daylesford and Daylesford Stays brands to life across every touchpoint. Working in close partnership with the Creative Director, you will translate creative vision into beautifully executed, high-quality work leading the day‑to‑day creative output across campaigns, content, retail, hospitality, digital, and print. You will guide creative production from concept to delivery, shaping how our brands are seen, felt, and experienced by our customers and guests. This is a highly collaborative role, sitting at the heart of the business. You’ll manage creative workflows, inspire and support a talented in‑house team, and work closely with marketing, e‑commerce, retail, hospitality, and external partners to ensure every piece of creative work reflects our values, meets business objectives, and upholds the distinctive Daylesford aesthetic. This is a full‑time role 40 hours per week and based at our London office 5 days a week. RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading the end‑to‑end production of creative assets across retail, packaging, campaigns, photography, print and digital Translating creative direction into high‑quality, commercially effective deliverables Art directing photography and content shoots from planning through to final production Managing, mentoring and developing the in‑house creative team Partnering with Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Campaign teams to deliver seasonal and brand campaigns across all channels Overseeing packaging and print production, ensuring quality, sustainability and technical accuracy Maintaining brand consistency through strong asset management, design systems and guidelines Managing creative workflows, timelines, budgets and external suppliers to ensure smooth, on‑time delivery
SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
5–7 years’ progressive experience in creative roles within retail, hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands, with a strong track record of delivering high‑quality work across multiple channels. Proven experience leading and developing in‑house creative teams, as well as collaborating with external agencies, photographers, and production partners. A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand campaigns, multi‑channel design, packaging, and photography/art direction. Highly organised with excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple creative projects concurrently and deliver to tight deadlines. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with a strong understanding of print production, packaging development, and pre‑press processes. Solid understanding of digital content creation, including web and social media specifications, digital asset management, and brand systems. Good working knowledge of photography, lighting, styling, and art direction; experience with video and motion graphics tools is advantageous. Experience working within or alongside retail environments, including point‑of‑sale and in‑store creative production, is desirable. Exposure to organic, sustainable, or premium food, hospitality, or lifestyle brands, including knowledge of sustainable materials and production methods, is a plus. A collaborative, proactive, and solutions‑focused mindset, with strong communication skills and the ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
