Own and drive the launch into retail, identifying target groceries, securing new listings, and building long-term partnerships Oversee the international trade channel, providing direction and support to the International Trade Manager to drive distributor performance and expansion across key markets Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as the primary point of contact for account negotiations and escalations Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) sessions with key accounts, aligning on shared goals and growth opportunities driven by category insight and data Take full ownership of the budget, ensuring financials targets are delivered Regularly review and report on international and retail performance metrics to the C‑Suite, providing clear insight on progress against targets and strategic priorities Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, supply chain, marketing, and NPD to ensure trade and retail strategies are executed efficiently and product launches land on time Manage and optimise product range, pricing, and promotional plans across retail and trade accounts to maximise distribution and profitability
Core Competencies
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management Proven experience in retail account management, including securing and growing listings with grocery, health, or specialist retailers Track record of budget ownership and delivering against revenue and profit targets Strong understanding of international trade compliance, export regulations, and customs processes Experience leading Joint Business Planning with retail or distribution partners Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior level Driven self-starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
