Head Chef Ideal Profile:
Experience leading a kitchen team in a fresh food environment
Strong knowledge of seasonal cooking and menu development
Confident in managing kitchen operations including ordering and stock control
Committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Organised with the ability to thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen
A natural leader who motivates and develops their team
Head Chef Responsibilities:
Leading the kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality dishes
Creating and developing seasonal menus that showcase local produce
Managing kitchen operations including ordering, stock rotation, and cost control
Ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met and maintained
Training, developing, and supporting junior chefs and kitchen staff
Working closely with management to support the overall success of the business
