A unique opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to take the reins of a busy, hospitality operation in West London.
This is not your standard kitchen role. Youll be leading a food offering that supports a vibrant mix of pre-theatre dining, matinee service, and all-day café trade, serving a diverse, culturally engaged audience.
The kitchen currently delivers over £1,000£2,000 per day in food revenue, with clear scope for growth under the right leadership.
The Role
You will take full ownership of the kitchen, leading a small but capable brigade of 23 chefs plus kitchen porters, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across all services.
This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-service environment and is ready to make their mark.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop a compact kitchen team
Oversee all day-to-day kitchen operations and service delivery
Design and implement a fresh, commercially strong menu with your own creative input
Manage stock, GP margins, and supplier relationships
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Maintain high standards across café, restaurant, and event-style service periods
Work closely with senior management to drive revenue and customer experience
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous stepping up
Background in fresh food, café/restaurant, or multi-outlet environments
Confident in menu development and seasonal menu changes
Strong understanding of kitchen financials and cost control
A natural leader who can build culture in a small team
Calm under pressure able to deliver across varied service times (including pre-theatre peaks)
Passion for quality food and delivering a memorable guest experience
