We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Handyperson Coordinator to lead and organise our skilled team, ensuring the smooth delivery of both reactive and planned maintenance across London City Airport.

In this role, you will act as a key point of contact between the Handyperson team, the FM Helpdesk, and Engineering Operations, ensuring tasks are prioritised and completed to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the day-to-day coordination of handyperson tasks and activities
• Work closely with the FM Helpdesk and Engineering Operations Manager to plan and prioritise workloads
• Build a strong understanding of the airport's layout and operations to support effective maintenance delivery
• Carry out a range of maintenance tasks, including preventative and reactive repairs, painting, decorating, and general fixes
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard across facilities, infrastructure, and equipment
• Act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for specific tasks or equipment
• Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting hazards

What We're Looking For

Experience & Competencies:

• Experience in a customer-facing or service delivery environment
• Proven ability to organise workloads, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping

Skills & Knowledge:

• Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Vocational training or relevant practical experience (advantageous)
• First Aid, IPAF, or Forklift certifications (desirable)
• Strong communication skills and a personable, approachable manner
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Flexible, reliable, and adaptable
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Working Hours & Flexibility

• 40 hours per week (full-time, permanent)
• Flexibility required for early/late shifts
• Occasional out-of-hours work may be necessary to support operational needs
