Group Accountant Location: Dundee (with hybrid flexibility) Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE + benefitsWe're working with a privately owned investment business with a diverse portfolio across the UK and internationally. The organisation operates across sectors including property, drinks, and hospitality, and is seeking a qualified accountant to support its continued growth.This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to take ownership of financial processes across multiple entities. It provides a unique chance to join a growing and entrepreneurial business with real breadth and visibility, working closely with senior leadership while playing a key role in supporting both financial control and commercial activity across the group.The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function across a number of group companies, while also supporting commercial decision-making and operational activities.Key responsibilities will include: Maintaining and reconciling financial records across multiple entities (Xero)Producing and managing a detailed weekly cashflow forecast, including reforecastingCoordinating weekly supplier payment runs for approvalSubmitting VAT returns and overseeing complianceManaging payroll processesLiaising regularly with internal teams and external stakeholders across the portfolioSupporting budgeting and tracking project spend vs. actualsRaising and issuing invoices to tenants and related partiesResponding to ad hoc requests from senior leadershipSupporting with operational tasks such as insurance renewalsAssisting with basic HR administration (e.g. contracts, holiday tracking) About You Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent)At least 3 years' post-qualification experienceExperience in property, manufacturing, hospitality, or a multi-entity environment preferredStrong Excel and systems skills (Xero experience advantageous)Commercially minded with strong attention to detailConfident communicator, comfortable working with non-finance stakeholdersProactive and adaptable, with a willingness to get involved across the business For more information or a confidential discussion, please apply today or get in touch.
