Location: Dundee (with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE + benefits
We're working with a privately owned investment business with a diverse portfolio across the UK and internationally. The organisation operates across sectors including property, drinks, and hospitality, and is seeking a qualified accountant to support its continued growth.
This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to take ownership of financial processes across multiple entities. It provides a unique chance to join a growing and entrepreneurial business with real breadth and visibility, working closely with senior leadership while playing a key role in supporting both financial control and commercial activity across the group.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function across a number of group companies, while also supporting commercial decision-making and operational activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and reconciling financial records across multiple entities (Xero)
Producing and managing a detailed weekly cashflow forecast, including reforecasting
Coordinating weekly supplier payment runs for approval
Submitting VAT returns and overseeing compliance
Managing payroll processes
Liaising regularly with internal teams and external stakeholders across the portfolio
Supporting budgeting and tracking project spend vs. actuals
Raising and issuing invoices to tenants and related parties
Responding to ad hoc requests from senior leadership
Supporting with operational tasks such as insurance renewals
Assisting with basic HR administration (e.g. contracts, holiday tracking)
About You
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent)
At least 3 years' post-qualification experience
Experience in property, manufacturing, hospitality, or a multi-entity environment preferred
Strong Excel and systems skills (Xero experience advantageous)
Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator, comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders
Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to get involved across the business
