Location - Bath £30,000 - £40,000 A well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy in Bath is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing ground engineering team. You'll be working alongside civil, structural and environmental colleagues on a broad mix of projects across the South West from residential and commercial developments through to infrastructure schemes. The role offers a good balance of site and office work and the chance to be involved from investigation through to reporting and design input. The role will include: Supervising ground investigations and site works Logging soils and rock in line with current standards Liaising with contractors and clients on site Preparing factual and interpretative reports Providing foundation and geotechnical recommendations Supporting senior engineers on more complex projects What they're looking for: Around 2+ years' experience within a UK geotechnical or ground investigation consultancy A degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or a related subject Confident logging and site supervision experience Good report writing skills Full UK driving licence What's on offer: Competitive salary Company vehicle or car allowance xehkeey Paid overtime Pension and standard benefits package Support towards chartership Clear progression within a growing team This is a good opportunity for someone who wants more responsibility, varied project exposure and the backing of a larger multi-disciplinary business without feeling like just another number.
